Ian Drakard, BSc (Pod) Honours
Ian graduated with an honours degree in Podiatry from the University of Northampton in 2007, and also works at Angel Podiatry in Halesworth, Suffolk.
Ian's special interests are biomechanics, orthotics, gait analysis and sports injuries. Orthotics are insoles which support or correct human function. They are used to align the bones in the foot to reduce stress on ligaments and muscles in the foot, and to improve gait and posture in the body as a whole.
Alistair Bielby, BSc (Pod) BSc (Biol)
Alistair's special interest is in diabetic foot care and wound management. Alistair has additional post-graduate training in diabetes care and lower limb vascular assessment.
He has previously worked for the NHS initially as a community podiatrist and subsequently as a diabetes specialist podiatrist in hospital-based foot ulcer clinics.
Yuliia Malska, MCFHP MAFHP, Sports and Massage Therapist, FHP
Yuliia joined us in October 2022 and, under the guidance of our Podiatrists within Footsure, qualified with The SMAE Institue for Foot Health Professionals. Yuliia has become a valued member of the team.
With the opening of our new treatment and rehabilitation space at Footsure at the end of 2023, Yuliia has been able to employ her skills as a qualified personal trainer and sports massage therapist to help patients with all aspects of lower limb health and rehabilitation.
